How can the T-shirts be 100% sweat resistant / sweat proof ?

The cotton T-shirt range is treated with Fabrapel, which is a unique patented solution that ensures no moisture or sweat will never penetrate through the fabric, keeping you totally dry. You can literally hold the T-shirts under a tap and water will not pass through to the other side, they are completely water repellent.

What is Fabrapel ?

Fabrapel is a hypoallergenic, undetectable finish applied to both sides of the T-shirt fabric which uniquely:

  • Guarantees water and stain repellency
  • Retards bacterial growth
  • Eliminates heat and odours
  • Ensures comfort and confidence

Fabrapel is far superior to any other product or barrier and will not crack, peel or generate heat or noise after repeat washings.

What is the difference between clothes shields and garment shields?

Clothes shields:

  • Can be sewn onto clothes and are available in normal size for clothes with sleeves and half size for sleeveless dresses and tops
  • Come in various sizes to suit both men and womens clothing
  • Are reusable and washable (unless they are the disposable type of shield)

Garment shields:

  • Are an underwear garment that has underarm shields built in, for women only
  • Offer more stability as the entire garment fastens around the torso and cannot move out of place

Most clothes and garment shields are available with either the vinyl barrier or Fabrapel barrier. 

What is the difference between vinyl or Fabrapel treated clothes or garment shields?

Vinyl:

  • A vinyl barrier shield guarantees that fluid will never pass through it
  • Recommended for those with excess sweating

Fabrapel:

  • Are treated with the patented, hypoallergenic solution which replaces the vinyl barrier with a noiseless, non-heat generating waterproof cotton fabric
  • Recommended for those with moderate sweating
